A little bit about your instructor...                                                                                     

My name is Sheena. I am a Certified Childbirth Educator (CCE), a student midwife about to become a Certified Professional Midwife at the end of summer, and an avid student of birth in general. I was born and raised in the gorgeous and beautiful Big Island of Hawaii. A few years ago, my husband and I moved to Northern California to do a Christian Ministry school. After completing that we moved here, to south Kansas City, Missouri, where my family had been living and attending the International House of Prayer. My husband is currently in full time Nursing school to get his Bachelors degree as well as works at a local hospital; while I am doing midwifery school and working at a local birth center. My husband and I still currently reside in South Kansas City with our little boy, who was born two years ago in a beautiful labor and birth. What a joy he is!! We also are excitedly expecting a baby girl this upcoming spring. We started these Wonderfully Created Childbirth Classes a couple years ago because of my heart to help families as they navigate the waters of pregnancy and birth. I would love to assist you on your journey in this wonderful experience to a joyful birth!
